1. This is a fan site
Slapstick Apocalypse is a privately run Project Zomboid server and this site documents it. It is an unofficial fan project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or connected to The Indie Stone, Valve Corporation, or any of the mod authors whose work is listed here.
Nothing on this site is sold, and no money is taken for access to the server.
2. Rights in the game
Project Zomboid is a work by The Indie Stone. All rights in the game, its name, its artwork and its trademarks belong to them. Screenshots on this site show the game as played on this server and are used to describe it.
3. Rights in the mods
This site carries a database of the mods running on the server. For each one it may show the name, the author's own description, the preview image and a link to the Steam Workshop page.
All rights in every mod remain with its respective author. Nothing here is our work, and nothing here is offered for download. The database exists so that players can see what is installed and read what the author wrote about it, in the author's own words.
Descriptions and preview images
Mod descriptions are reproduced as their authors published them on the Steam Workshop, unedited and untranslated. That is deliberate: a paraphrase would put words in the author's mouth, and a translation would do so in a second language.
Preview images are stored on this server rather than loaded from Steam. This is a privacy measure, not a claim of ownership — see section 2 of the privacy policy. The images remain the work of their respective authors.
If you are an author and want your work removed
Write to the address in section 6 and it will be taken down. No explanation needed, no discussion. Every entry links to its Workshop page, so identifying the right one is straightforward.
4. Steam and Valve
Steam and the Steam Workshop are trademarks of Valve Corporation. This site links to Workshop pages but is in no way associated with Valve, and Valve has neither reviewed nor approved anything here.
5. What is ours
The texts written for this site, its layout and the tooling behind it are our own work. The two typefaces are used under the SIL Open Font License 1.1; their license texts ship alongside the font files.

§ 18 MStV requires an address that legal documents can be served to. A city on its own is not one: it has to be an address a letter reaches. A pen name does not satisfy the requirement either, however long it has been in use — the legal name has to appear, and may stand alongside the pen name.
Note on the domain: the .be ending makes no difference to which law applies here. What counts is where the operator is established, not how the domain ends.
7. Liability for links
This site links to external pages over whose content we have no control. Responsibility for that content lies with the respective operator. The linked pages were checked for obvious legal problems when the links were added; permanent monitoring is not reasonable without a concrete indication of an infringement. If one becomes known, the link will be removed.
